So how are the websites coming along for everyone? I found that once I started constructing the website it was coming together and making more sense in my head! Who knows if I'm doing it right but I feel better about it! Just thought I would see the progress that everyone else is making.

tara 2nd blog 8th week

I am really trying to keep caught up.
I have ditched my quick books work this week to try to get all I can in on this class.
I am behind in that too by a week and a project but I would be further in this class.
On a better note
I was up all night
I have the about me page done
It’s totally too long or not
I feel that the story will do what the Australia story did only more so.
If I am wrong people let me know k?
I do not want board people clicking off my page to run for the hills k
Be honest.
If its bad tell me
and tell me what to cut that makes sense.

Hey, I picked another domain name.
I thought since everyone was picking them that I would too.
I tried many names before choosing this.



I did talk about the new domain name but i eraced it so if you saw it your good if not i dont know what to say.

I typed in north pole today and santas house and a few other choice words and well things have drasticly changed. there are some new sites up.

Ive decided not to give out any more tools.

Tara week 8

I hate quizzes so I am still blogging even though you said we don’t have too. My hope is that I can continue with that and not have to deal with the quiz.

On the flip side, the comments will be all but impossible.

Maybe my emails could count toward that or I could comment on others emails?

I read all the material and rewrote another draft of the about me page.

Tomorrow, I am hoping to put it all together. I believe I will do ok in the direction of getting people to feel for you I mean me. I have written down what brought me to Alaska in the beginning,

A house fire.

I will loose out because I can’t seem to make many sentences short. It looks very crappy to me like that. I will try when though. I did manage to keep a passive voice throughout the equation with the help of word.

Then again, word is not always correct.

To sum it up, I am going to try to use my mother moving so many times as a catalyst to me moving many times. Then the fire giving me the ability to move get here and finally finding the town that I love and call my home.

Lastly adding in some of the other things the material suggested.

I do have my reservations about how much white space I can add in without making the page turn into many pages…. If I could get feed back on that it would be great but I am thinking that it will not matter how long it is as long as there is white space and I can keep their attention.

On a different note, I think it’s cool that u used the Australia site u r so right when I read her page I could not stop reading. I think I must have gone though the whole site and I really want to go there too. I love safe and a little danger adventures they are so cool!

Domain Names & Such

Make sure you take time to get some feedback on domain names and the home page development from Terri. I had written my original home page as more of a sales pitch and with her suggestions, I was able to pre-sell much better without being super obvious about it.

As far as domain names, we chatted on Gmail chat for a bit while we reviewed the ones I had previously submitted. She encouraged me to look into incorporating more of my keywords into the domain itself. In the end, it looks like a go for www.cat-lovers-online.com and a possible embedded store The Cat Emporium. We'll see how that all develops as I move on. I've also started checking into Amazon as an embedded web store since I will be monetizing quite a bit from specific product sales.

I wish I had not jumped the gun on the domain name. I am wondering how you got them to go with ten dollars when I paid around 75 for one of mine? You must be a really good at convincing these companies to give us free stuff. Cootos Cutos ugg I cant figure out how to spell it anyway hats off to you! I just may pick another name maybe the one we talked about! Or another? At any rate take a look at the site tier and tell me what you think I should round about call it because there are so many different aspects I was thinking that I should include the state as part of the site as well. I cant help but to think what if there was a site that included everything about Alaska.

What if there was a site like the all recipe site only about Alaska?
Do you think that is possible to do by starting out with northpole?

Taras blog week 7

I sent my book in the email. I have way overdone the whole tier thing and have more than the 15 to start but I feel good about it.

I want to say that a lot and I mean a lot of research went into doing that book. I resigned up with word tracker on the seven-day free trial but as soon as I was finished I canceled my membership. I don’t like taking any chances when it comes to memberships and them having my account info.

I was able to search web sites that related to my site and I searched sited that are not related too. What I ended up with is great information for my site and for myself as well.

This one is a photo site that a classroom did on craemers field Not a lot of writing but nice pictures. This might help with my photography site? Not sure will have to spend more time checking that out later over the summer

The last site is one that I adore she makes it sound so cool to go to Australia. Her pictures are great too. I notice that she has a pattern to her site. I cant seem to find that with my blueprint. But I am sure I will at some point. I notice that she uses I a lot in her site? Something must be working for her because she’s making money and has tons of visitors.

Last thing I want to get out is I have such an easy time blogging about things and running my mouth so why am I having such a difficult time with my first page? I thought this was to help with that?

step throat.
i have absolutly nothing else to blog about.
i have been fading in and out of awareness for about 3 days.

i've found myself wondering: have i blogged yet? what day is it? did i have class today?

vague memories of waking up to familiar voices of people coming to visit (they all wore face masks... just in case i didnt already feel like a lepar).

if i were to make a website about strep throat, i would write about common misconceptions (such as garggling with salt water... ouch!) and fun home remedies such as rubbing vics vapor rub on my feet.

i would write about the side effects of nyquil which do not appear on the label (such as bad or unusual dreams. last night i dreamed about produce at war, the raddishes had strong artilerary against the green onions).

i am loopy, back to bed for me.
